When Walker (1971) described this species, he had specimens only from Obion County, Tennessee, and Franklin County, Florida. Subsequently he collected specimens in Baldwin County, Alabama, and found specimens in the ANSP Collection, from Orleans Parish, Louisiana, dated 5-7 August 1915. G.K. Morris, in a letter of 1 September 1971, reported the species as occurring in Amelia, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.
