Rules & Suggestions

Replying to any e-mail sent from the listserv and asking to unsubscribe will not unsubscribe you from the listserv. You must follow the instructions listed above to unsubscribe.

Replying to a message from the listserv will not send a message to the entire listserv because........

This is a moderated listserv, in that any messages sent to the listserv by a subscriber is sent first to the listserv owner (me), who then decides if the message should be sent to the subscribers. (And I cannot even remember the last time I approved such a request.) This prevents subscribers from receiving junk e-mail (spam and other notices) from the listserv. Subscribers only receive two messages a month: one asking for news and the other alerting them that a new issue is posted.

Since spammers have discovered the address of the listserv, do not send news to the list as such messages are sent to the list owner's trash box. Instead, faculty, staff, students and alumni should send news to the list owner's e-mail address which is listed in each issue.

Protection is set so that only the listserv owner can review the e-mail addresses of the listserv subscribers.
