Laboratory Exercises

There is NO lab week 1.

The first lab is "External Morphology and Microscope Use". Print it and bring it to lab with you. You will need it, but no copy will be made available to you in lab. You must bring your own copy from this website. Your TA will inform you each week which lab will be next. In each case, print that lab and bring it with you.

New Policy on Collecting Equipment:  You will be issued insect collecting and curation equipment in lab.  We have had increasing problems getting this equipment returned, and it is expensive to replace.  This semester, you will NOT be allowed to submit your final insect collection in lab unless 100% of your collecting equipment is returned AT THE SAME TIME.  You will get a 0 on your final collection and a minimum two letter grade reduction in your lab grade if you do not turn in your equipment on time.  There will be no acceptable excuses for not following this policy.
